Yatzah or Yahtz, was a biblical city in the area under the control of the Moabites. In the 20th century it was proposed to identify it in Jalul, east of Midaba, but this proposalw as not accepted. It was also proposed to identify it with the sword of Al-Madayina of Misha, King of Moab from the 9th century BC. It is said that the city was conquered by him and the people of Moab were brought to settle it.
