Kadesh

Kadesh was an ancient city located in what is now modern-day Syria, near the border with Lebanon. Kadesh is mentioned in various ancient texts and inscriptions, including the Bible. Kadesh was an important city in the ancient kingdoms of Aram and Assyria, and later became a major center of trade and commerce under the Romans. Kadesh was also known for its strategic location, as it was located at the crossroads of several important trade routes.

Kadesh is also the location of the famous battle that took place in the 13th century BC between the Egyptians led by Ramses II and the Hittite kingdom led by King Mewatli II
