Tel Gimzo is an archaeological site located in central Israel, near the town of Ben Shemen. The tel (Hebrew for “mound” or “hill”) was a fortified city in ancient times and is believed to have been inhabited continuously from the Early Bronze Age (approximately 3000 BCE) to the Roman period (approximately 300 CE).

Excavations at Tel Gimzo have uncovered evidence of a variety of structures, including a citadel, a city wall, and several residential areas. Archaeologists have also found pottery, weapons, and other artifacts that provide insight into the daily life and culture of the people who lived there.
