Tel Nami – Field survey (BibleWalks.com)

This 10+ minutes video summarizes a short visit to Tel Nami, and includes a drone view of the site and its surrounding. Tel Nami is a Middle and Late Bronze port city, situated on a sandstone hill on Mount Carmel coast, on the north area of Habonim nature reserve. A maritime trade settlement was built on the hill during the Middle Bronze period IIa (2000-1750 BC). After destruction in the Middle Bronze IIb, and a gap of 400 years, it was resettled as a fortress during the Late Bronze period (1400-1200 BC). A settlement and Necropolis were unearthed 150m east of the mound, occupied at the same Bronze periods.
