An ancient inscription in the Hebrew language discovered in the excavations of Khirbet Qeiyafa. It was written in ink in the Proto-Canaanite alphabet on a trapezoid shaped pottery shard, its content is unclear but includes the imperative words “Do not do” and “Work at” that appear only in the Bible and in documents in the Hebrew language, and are not known from Canaanite or Phoenician.
