Archaeology means getting up early, working hard in the hot sun, and documenting every inch of excavated ground. It’s also a lot of fun. One of the only ways we have of reaching out and touching the ancient world is digging with our bare hands, and the opportunity to do that is why students and faculty return to Akko every year.
