Tel Rosh (Khirbet er Ruweis) is a large (25 dunam) ancient mound, with remains spanning the Early Bronze Age to Early Arab period. The Biblical city is identified as Bethshemesh of the Galilee, allotted to the Naphtali tribe. It is located in the Upper Galilee region, near Moshav Elkosh- a farming settlement named after the birth place of prophet Nahum (Nahum 1:1).
